In many municipalities outline plans are an essential
component of the planning process. In conjunction with these plans are detailed design reports, which examine the infrastructure needs in a particular area. Our firm has a long history of completing this portion of the planning process. This process involves a problem solving approach combined with an ability to listen to stakeholder input. Design reports in areas such as water, sanitation, storm, traffic and parks are important as they impact the feasibility of development. All these documents are required prior to rezoning. This combined with a more detailed layout, as expressed in the outline plan, are all used to create carefully crafted and functional communities.
